Top Korean Actress Bae Doona of Spackman Entertainment Group’s Associated Company, Spackman Media Group, Set To Star In Upcoming K-Drama, THE GREATEST DIVORCE, To Air In October 2018

SINGAPORE - Media OutReach - 25 July 2018 - Spackman Entertainment Group Limited ("Spackman Entertainment Group" or the "Company" and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group"), one of Korea's leading entertainment production groups founded by financier Charles Spackman, wishes to announce that top Korean actress Bae Doona of SBD Entertainment Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Group's associated company, Spackman Media Group Limited ("Spackman Media Group"), is set to star in the upcoming romantic comedy drama, THE GREATEST DIVORCE, scheduled to air on KBS2 in October 2018. 

 

Directed by Yoo Hyun-ki, THE GREATEST DIVORCE is a remake of a popular Japanese drama, MATRIMONIAL CHAOS, written by Sakamoto Yuji, who also wrote the original drama of tvN's MOTHER. The drama follows a group of people in their thirties as they navigate through marriage, family and divorce. Bae Doona will portray an optimistic and easy-going wife while Cha Tae-hyun of ALONG WITH THE GODS: THE TWO WORLDS (2017) and MY SASSY GIRL (2001) will play her husband. Lee El of MONSTER (2016) and LIAR GAME (2014) will also co-star in the drama.

("The P Factory") and Platform Media Group Co., Ltd. ("PMG"), is primarily involved in the business of overseas agency for Korean artists venturing into the overseas market. The P Factory is an innovative marketing solutions provider specializing in event and branded content production. PMG is a talent management agency which represents and manages the careers of major artists in film, television, commercial endorsements, and branded entertainment.

 

On 7 May 2018, the Company announced that it would spin-off Novus Mediacorp and Frame Pictures into a combined entity to seek listing on the Catalist Board of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited to exploit the growing post-theatrical and camera equipment leasing markets.
